The Pork Teriyaki Taco Tastes Great And Is Good For You!

by Greg Scott

Anybody who lives in or comes to visit South Florida can appreciate its truly good qualities. There are so many things about this town that make me so happy to be a resident. The superior dining is just one facet of many that continue to surprise me since living here. In all of my experiences of South Florida dining, I have shocked at how these establishments manage to come up with such different styles. The tacos that I ordered on my last trip were so different from the other entrees I've tried! The pork Teriyaki taco is my new favorite dish on the menu! You won't believe it when I tell you the ingredients in this dish!

When I saw that I was getting THREE soft shell tortillas, I was thrilled. Many establishments don't give you what you pay for, and you end up broke and still hungry. Thankfully South Florida knows how to treat its customers! I left this particular establishment feeling satisfied with my meal. The portions were perfect!

The really great thing, and most obvious, about the teriyaki taco is the delicious pineapple teriyaki sauce. It is freshly made every day by the employees who are trained for it. When I asked for the list of ingredients in the sauces, they had no problem telling me everything that went into them! It was wonderful to finally feel informed about what I was eating!

I'm jumping the ship a little though, as the pineapple teriyaki sauce is better placed as one of the last ingredients in the taco. This is to insure that all of your ingredients are lathered with that delicious, one-of-a-kind sauce! You should begin the taco with your preference of protein. There's steak, chicken, pork, and chicken breast. If you don't eat meat, there's are not one, but two vegetarian substitutes. Black bean hummus, or plain black beans and guacamole!

No taco would be complete without vegetables. It's so easy to make your taco a healthy meal with the right selection of vegetables. The teriyaki starts the veggies off with cucumbers. I had never heard of putting cucumbers on a taco, but I'm so glad that I got a taste! The refreshment that it brought to the teriyaki taco was like no other.

After that, you'll want to throw in some diced green onions. I was also unfamiliar with diced green onions on tacos, so this would be new to me too. I can always count on Jupiter tacos to show me tastes I've never encountered before! They're unique combinations are seriously off the map!

Along with cucumbers and diced green onions, there's pickled carrots! I love carrots and with the teriyaki sauce complimenting them, I was in heaven! Yet another delicious ingredient in an increasingly delicious taco!

Just when I thought that this taco couldn't get any better, South Florida surprised me yet again. Just before handing me my tacos, they sprinkled a few sesame seeds onto the top of each one. What an addition! I am such a fan of sesame seeds and I was so delighted with the way it accompanied the unique style of the taco!

The Teriyaki taco is what you would expect from Jupiter tacos, but I just can't believe my taste buds every time I try a different entree. If only rice taco everywhere were this delicious. South Florida just gets it!
