I trawled the web and found out that I could catapult her into the aristocracy by buying her a title in Scotland. It means that Catherine is now officially "Lady Catherine" and can lord it over us all! Ideal.
It didn't take me long to decide to buy the package and all the documents, including a certificate arrived addressed to "Lady Catherine". My friend was officially a Lady and I couldn't wait to give her all the paperwork that proved she now possessed a title. She was so happy she cried! She laughed too, of course. Exactly the reaction I'd hoped for.
I had really given someone something special and different that didn't take up more space in our home (which very little of us have). It felt good to give someone something to remind them how important they really are, and then for my birthday she returned the favor and gave me the same gift! I was thrilled. Since then I have made 3 men Lords, and 4 women Lady's. I now hang out with the best of society on a regular basis!
Maybe you are like me, and also have a few friends worthy of being made into Lords or Ladies. It really isn't hard. It's a lot of fun for everyone and a truly unique novelty gift. Or buy one for yourself! Sometimes you have to do something to make people stand up and get noticed.
